Meld: Poems is the debut poetry collection published by Jack Durkin. The collection is currently available for purchase exclusively online.
"Through rhythmic haikus and loose, experimental verses that mimic the terrain itself, Meld by Jack Durkin reads like a field log of our current ecological moment. By both revering and questioning traditional poetics, Durkin brilliantly mirrors the unsettled borders of human perception and a world in flux. It is a vivid meditation on geography, memory, and language—an invitation to investigate the constantly evolving relationship between the interweaving realities of what surrounds us."
This is a blog that lacks many distinct or defining features. The site provides a space to ramble about various forms of environmental and literary knowledge. From poetics to ecological criticism or the occasional recipe, the hope is for this page to provide something interesting for anyone who rambles across it to read.
